“It’s a Beyoncé & Rihanna World, Cassie!”

Wow. I’m a media person but wow, this man went all guns blazing for Cassie.

One US DJ has a mouth on him. Check out the audio in the YT Video below where Charlamagne, the DJ, tells Cassie:

Cassie even says: “So, I live in a Rihanna & Beyoncé World?”

 I don’t like the idea of there being one or two hot black singers, but it is fair to say that Bee singlehandlely thumps peoples careers with her worldwide sold out tours, #1 hit singles. Beyoncé’s husband’s protégé, Rihanna, is not doing badly either.

Maybe the DJ has a point: Do Bee & R have monopoly on popularity? As many of you know I can barely be unbiased as I run Beyoncé’s Lair, my blog about Bey. LOL!  To be fair to Cassie, she did come across really nicely in the interview and she does have a good ‘don’t give a fuck’ attitude and I am glad she addressed the pussy pictures leaking as well. She knows she is a role model, so I am glad she addressed that.

I am looking forward to reading any comments from you lot regarding the B&R world comment!

Video Commentary: Cassie & Diddy/’Must Be Love’/Cassie & Diddy Are Bonking!

I caught this video @ Black Girl’s Guide to Sex: Sex and The City with a Sister’s Twist.

  • I still think Cassie’s hair looks contrived and begging for it. She looks like she is trying to jump for more attention. She is a true beauty, but the begging for attention is a bit suspect
  • Diddy is trying to dance, again as usual at 0:11
  • I have also figured out why Cassie does not move me. She doesn’t really do anything – not even at 1:11 when she is swaying. Not hating, but even with a nice mellow song, it’s weak.
  • I love her manicure at 2:57

Despite Diddy’s always hilarious swaying and dancing, I don’t think Cassie lights up the song. I actually really liked the song more when I saw it when Cassie & Diddy were mixing the song in the studio (the video is on YouTube).

What do you guys think – can Cassie make it and differentiate herself from all the other  starlets like Rihanna and Millian? I don’t not like Cassie’s music – I think some songs are okay but I just don’t see that X Factor.

Maybe Diddy keeps it locked up when they bonk together! LMAO!

Cassie and her half shaved head. Rihanna. When will all the nude picture madness end? In regards to Cassie, she has no career to speak of anyhoo. Her music comes across in brief and tiny spells, just like a quick fuck with a 2 minute guy. Rihanna on the other hand has sold bare albums, a tour and has hit singles. So why R resort to having these photos leaked? I like Rihanna’s songs but I don’t think she is helping her career at all here. And it has nothing to do with the photos being private. They are both marketing their music to young, impressionable women. Nude pictures is not exactly what I’d tell young girls to grow up to do. Sorry.

Are you with Diddy? Am I the only one getting the vibes that Cassie has a MASSIVE crush on Sean Combs? Check out this video of Puffy mixing (presumably) a new song of Cassie called ”Must Be Love”? The song sounds hot by the way. I should have prefaced this with saying besides Beyonce, I am also a Puffy fan. I love his ridiculous dancing. It always cheers me up.

Honestly, Cassie is fancying this bloke hard. It is so obvious that something is going on. Not that I have a problem with it. This girl’s talent is questionable so attaching oneself to a music mogul and icon will help! I will be checking for Puffy’s next album anyhoo.
