Yes, okay she is the younger sister of a global superstar and what ? I do think people deserve the chance to be judged individually. I am a strong advocate for team BK but was really pleasantly surprised to hear “I Decided” a while back.
The video is great; really bright and very energetic. I did not expect Solange to bring that much creativity. It was a very good video, considering how rubbish most videos these days are [yes, I am talking about Soldier Boy Soulja Boy]. I did not know Solange was that tall! Her legs go on for days. I love the pink dress she is wearing in the Martha & Vandellas set-up part & I love that white corset-esque thing she is wearing too. She looks gorgeous.
I hope it works out for her. She seems level-headed. There is an interview on YouTube of her on CNN behind the scenes of the video and her talking about how her son made her take more chances. I thought that was touching.

Well , i am done with resort , but in the middle of fall 08 production , and late with spring . So I wanted to see this video because of the colors.

I could not get through it . while i do agree she should be judged on her talent . The point remains she is beyonce’s sister, and is afforded the luxury to not climb the ladder and experience the pitfalls that other new artists experience . Yes she was there with Beyonce , and probably saw and felt but not experience what b did .
The video is reminscent of dreamgirls , and she has not found her sound
as of yet , because she can’t sing just like rhibot , she should be biting her sound . I keep saying this , but someone needs to remake abba’s dancing queen ( lol) it is not my favorite song , but many people from all walks of life love it . Also perhaps team up with andre 3000 and big boi to see what they can do with her .
